I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (Chennai) in May 2015
Interview
The Interview was quick and done in a very professional manner. They tested me on the basics of Algo and DS and then went on to Questions on Android Development.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Uber (Hong Kong) in Dec 2014
Interview
Basically they have an initial casual phone interview which basically asks me about the normal interview questions e.g. previous internship experiences or previous project experiences etc. Then, they would bring you in for a in-person interview that gives you real life problem e.g. how would you promote Uber Van in a given situation or if you are given this certain budget, how would you use it to maximize its promotion effect. Then, I am given a real-life task, assisting the preparation of an activity to evaluate me.
All the staffs are very nice and helpful, guiding me through the process. They are welcoming and wonderful overall

Interview
I interviewed for the Software Engineering internship position.
I applied in approximately November, and I heard back in January that they wanted to do a phone interview with me. My first phone interview went well, and I was told that I would have one more phone interview which would serve as the last interview. I'm not sure why they didn't bring me onsite (probably because I am just applying to be an intern).
I did well in my last phone interview as well, and I received an offer a few days ago.
Both interviews began with questions about my experience and ended with an opportunity for me to ask my interviewer questions.
