Applied online and was called a day later to set up in person meeting. The interview itself was easy, GM just asking questions to get to know you and your availability. I knew I wasn’t going to get the job as soon as the other person interviewing said they had friends and family working at the location
I applied online. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Southfield, MI) in Oct 2020
Interview
I arrived about an hour and khalif before the interview with the GM. He led me to the back where the office was. Both of us kept our masks on and maintained social distancing etiquette. The GM was was very straightforward while maintaining an air of friendliness which eased my nerves. The overarching theme to the questions had to do with how my previous experience would be an asset to the location so don't worry about needing a MUA portfolio or having to to do a demonstration ESPECIALLY given the current state of things. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I was offered the position by the end of the day.
