I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (San Diego, CA)
Interview
I had interviewed as an Intern and obtained the offer as a return offer. The Intern Interview consisted of three rounds, specifically two phone interviews and one hackerrank challenge. The first phone interview was more of a screening round. The second round was hackerrank and third was a phone interview with hiring manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General Algorithms and Data Structures, with some questions based on background interests and Resume
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Bengaluru) in Sep 2017
Interview
I applied through recruitment agency and my profile got shortlisted for in person interview. According to the JD I was supposed to be tested on DS and also but then when my first round started the interviewer asked me about java frameworks and told they are specifically looking for someone with lots of experience with java framework so I clearly told him I haven't worked on java frameworks and then he asked some couple of questions with ds and algorithm. I was pretty sure I was not the right fit for the role. After the first round they made me wait there for 3 hrs and scheduled 2nd round which lasted just for 10 mins ... very easy question was asked on linked list and string. And then they told they will let me know in 2-3 days and the response was negative which I was expecting but the problem is first of all they didn't gave a proper JD and secondly after 1st round itself the panel was aware that I don't fit in their criteria and still made me wait for 3hrs. Really horrible experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Bengaluru) in Aug 2017
Interview
This is the worst interview I would have ever attended. This is what happens when companies assign interviewing responsibilities to people who come from some body shop firm (no offence).
The interviewer especially one was so arrogant and closed to his opinion. They were looking for more of a guy who can somehow integrate different things all together even without knowing the underlying problem/consequences.
