Wargaming interview questions

Wargaming Recruiter reached out to me asking if I would be interested in position for 3d animator. I already have job, but I was curious to know what they have to offer. We had an interview. No info about the project (NDA), no info about the salary, I was asked how much I would like to get payed instead (it is not only about salary). After few weeks, they reach out me again, and asked me to do free animation test based on their video reference. I kindly refused to do it, and I was no longer considered for the role. Overall interview was nice, Recruiter was very kind and polite.

Recruiter went through the scripted history of the company and job role. Felt like there was some discrimination but I brushed it off. But after talking to the hiring manager the discussion on the role and myself we find quite a fit with each other. Was talking to recruiter again for more information but she was very reluctant to share. Started to feel like a red flag so I stopped. I think will be good to review the inconsistent interview process so we can all save time.
