I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WeWork
Interview
First up, google hangout call for about 20mins to chat about the role. 3 weeks later I received an invite for an in person interview. The interview process was spread across 3 managers with various roles within different areas of the company. Each discussion lasted about 30mins with no real structure or depth in the questions asked. 2 of the managers acknowledged they were hungover from the night before and struggled to answer some simple questions regarding wework. TA was present & professional. 8 days later I received a generic rejection template email from TA.
I applied online. I interviewed at WeWork in May 2017
Interview
The first step in the interview process was an online video response which felt very standard. After this step the recruited emailed immediately to set up a phone interview. Once that was scheduled for a specific date and time on their calendar the recruited forgot to call, did not reply to emails about missing the phone call, and never bothered to reschedule. So unprofessional and completely disregards any validity that the company might have. Get it together.
The three people I did face to face interviews with were overall great. Two of them were very approachable yet professional, the third person it was a more one sided conversation on their end but overall the face to face interviews were productive. The back end is why I am giving the overall process a "C+". I followed up to see if I was moving forward and the HR person forgot to call and tell me it was scheduled so I'm glad I followed up or it would have looked like I didn't show up despite not being notified. I also had people from HR call me only to figure out they called the wrong candidate. Their follow up and email responsiveness was poor at best overall. I found the final email to be unprofessional especially after 5 interviews. Nice people in person but the operational/HR back end was disorganized and unprofessional.
