I applied online. I interviewed at X (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Recruiter reaches out with a typical phone screening, they were quite dull sounding and seemed not engaged with what I had to say. Then a short 30 minute call with the hiring manager and then an on-site to meet 4-5 people and possibly a presentation if you make it to the final round. I found the hiring manager to sound really arrogant. The recruiters are Twitter are just terrible! They are unresponsive. I've worked with enough recruiters from here to know that I no longer want to pursue Twitter. They need to tidy up their recruiting practices.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why Twitter? What are Twitter's products? How would you sell/pitch into a [insert vertical] customer.
Friendly conversation. Not too deep. Pretty superficial. Not enough information about the role and its KPI's. Took about 10 min. Was notified in advance about the next step. Another interview with the hiring manager
The interview process was quick and the recruiters were extremely responsive and helpful. I had 2 phones interviews and 1 on-site interview. Overall it was a very positive interview experience.
