X Intern interview questions

A recruiter reached out to me and an interview was set up pretty quickly after. I passed the first technical interview with someone from the team that I would have been placed with and was scheduled for a second interview. However, the interview was abruptly canceled after the team made an offer to another applicant who accepted the position. I wish there was more transparency throughout the interview process as I spent a lot of time and effort preparing for it. This was an unexpected letdown that could have been easily avoided.
