If you notice all the reviews on here are from the past couple of months because they are trying to mass hire, since a ton of recruiters and managers recently left the company due a large change in culture and the ability to make much more money outside of Aerotek.
Culture has really shifted over the past 2 years. If you want a life outside of work this is not the company for you! This job is more for the single guy or girl right out of college. If you are married this job is extremely difficult to balance. Everyone is in the age group of 23-27. You only have two routes you can go as far as career paths. The director will try to block you from pursuing other roles outside of Sales or Account Recruiting Manager (ARM). Not all sales managers are good leaders. Just because you are good at selling that does not make you fit to lead a team. Make sure that you understand the compensation plan. Recruiters really don't make that much on commission, since its only 4% ONLY AFTER A CERTAIN THRESHOLD. Will take you a little over a year to hit that point if you are a commercial recruiter. In all honesty you will never really make that much money as a recruiter. Its kinda like a pyramid scheme where you can never make more money than the guy above you. the logo is literally a pyramid.... lol And the benefits suck, they are just really expensive. high deductible and once you meet the deductible they only cover 80%.
They generalize how much money you can make, but really depends on what division you are in. If you recruit more technical skill sets you will grow and hit your performance metrics, but your not making that much money. But, if you get stuck recruiting APS or Commercial where the type of candidates are lower skilled, it will be very difficult to make a lot of money here. It really comes down to what you are recruiting. When your contractors get laid off or go direct with your clients your pay checks will reflect that.
