      Great benefits and environment, the owners care about diversity

      Cons

      Like anywhere, an inexperienced or incompetent manager will make your life miserable, there are quiet a few here. also cars get broken into all the time and the area is not safe after dark

      The people are truly special. The company is doing wonderful things. It was a joy to make such a great change in the world.

      Cons

      The promotion of internal hires to management was disgraceful. You overlooked qualified candidates by focusing only on internal hires.

      Airbnb, we care more about strangers than our own employees

      + Nice perks (travel coupons, food, drinks, etc.) + Very nice coworkers + Young company that has a lot of potential + Growing rapidly

      Cons

      + Lack of transparency + Underpaid + Poor communication with employees + Sense of 'fakeness' (see title) + Communication with HR is difficult + Under-appreciation of employees who are deserving but perhaps not part of the 'gang' + Lack of recognition and chances for those demonstrating great potential + Work-life balance can be a challenge
