Pros

Well known brand that is recognised. Large organisation and only prospects for those that fit into a particular regime.

Cons

Terrible training and high expectations of new people including part time ( Full timers).I noticed that within my team there were people who were favoured high above others. Several staff would take 3 hour lunch breaks and not do much work. Learning the paint codes could take the average person at least 6 months to feel comfortable with. Female environment and not male friendly. Shocking attitude towards those who have gone through difficult times. Worst company i've ever been employed by.Training is non existent.

Pros

Very good, hard working fellow operators to work with. A lot of people are leaving due to the Houston site's cost cutting and no clear picture of what the future holds for this site. Job security greatly depends on what unit you are in. AOW unit supports the whole plant and the other units make pennies to their dollar. Good place to get experience, but with the uncertainty you're better off retiring from some place more sturdy.

Cons

Benefit package is good, 6% matching 401K, very low end on pay scale. Many people leave due to under pay. Management doesn't know what to do with the plant. Word is they will rebuild it due to poor condition of old infrastructure, but with the condition of market that is subject to change.
