Not the worst, but definitely lacking.

Pros

Good people in production. Health and dental OK, retirement very good. Opportunity is there if you can break into the inner circle. Unique and interesting products and technology. Not extremely demanding.

Cons

CONSTANT reorganization (in two years I was in three different business units). No technical drive, all direction is received from finance concerns, and therefore is very short-sighted. Countless missed opportunities, so Akzo continues to bleed money while its direct competitors make record profits. Locally, too much holdover from pre-acquisition, no real committment to evolving. Pay is notoriously below market value.
