Pros

Great company, great benefits, great people. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I was also compensated very, very well. I cannot say enough about how great the benefits are at Akzo Nobel. Akzo Nobel is also very committed to the professional growth of it's employees. They have a great tuition reimbursement programs and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Cons

There were a lot of very long hours. Work-life balance in my case was not always the best. It is a huge, international corporation so they seem to restructure and let people go a lot, which is what happened to me and my position.

Pros

AkzoNobel is a blue chip multinational company with a lot of talented people. The company gives an opportunity for growing in career and building a strong business network.

Cons

The company has been through a restructuring recently and lost a significant number of its talented work force. This is likely to have a negative impact on the work life balance of the remaining employees in the next phase.
