Pros

1) Comfortable working environment. 2) Free food and transport. 3) Some projects provide good exposure to the world markets and people at global level. 4) Quality products. I cannot think of more things.....

Cons

1) Very less compensations - HR department is just a made up story. Opportunities are not skill and qualification based. 2) Un-decisive managers. But they want control to the micro level. 3) Has union problems. The contract personal are not treated well. 4) No job security - irregular and illogical restructuring in place every year. 5) Managers have foolish justifications to cover up things. 6) Huge travel time to the office site. 7) Above all the R&D Bangalore had a 3 year bond period. 8) Not a positive learning environment - since mostly the people are just serving for too long. 9) The decisions to make and their implementation take ages. I can go on and on......

Pros

Pay well at the time of hiring Product quality is good Globally number one company (no 4 in India) Very transparent in customer accounting (sometime very liberal)

Cons

company has been not growing as per industry growth for last 2 years. continuously loosing market share across even in their high volume areas NO job security at all. One can be shown exit door at any point of time if results are not as per expectation for any smaller period even. Work culture is deteriorating Fire fighting approach in every work No ground level marketing job to create pull, only push sales Very hard follow up. Seniors sitting above are more busy only in counting numbers rather providing infra Systems and processes are highly volatile because of high attrition rate at higher level. Man driven company In decorative business, whole business is run by a single mind
