Pros

I was able to find a new job before the ship sinks. The only difference between the titanic and Akzo is the titanic had a band.

Cons

Corporate management is the out of touch with reality. Corporate management doesn't appear to know how to provide proper support to the facility personal.

Pros

Still adequate pay & benefits including retirement, but getting cheap.

Cons

Consultant politics taking hold of a company that used to be entrepreneurial & nimble. Personal image is becoming more important than real job performance. Promotions given to those personally connected to upper management.

Pros

Big company so potentially lots of opportunities

Cons

Very Dutch centric organization so progression limited unless you are Dutch. Increasingly chaotic management with limited control and different rules for management vs employees. Liable to change contract details without notice and totally untrustworthy.
