Pros

- A lot of exposure to different challenges, super steep learning curve - Work with the best talents - Big company, tons of opportunities - Good focus on community involvement and DEI groups employees can be a part of - Great benefits, lenient time off options

Cons

- No work life balance (may vary between teams, but majority of field work teams are short staffed/deliverables and expectations are high - Can be very stressful due to the shear volume of work

Pros

Pros: Impressive Salary: The company offers one of the best salary packages in the industry, ensuring financial stability and rewarding hard work. Benefits Package: Alongside the salary, the benefits package is comprehensive, including health coverage, retirement plans, restricted stock units, and other perks.

Cons

Cons: Reactive Work Environment: The nature of the work is mostly reactive. HRBP's often find themselves responding to issues as they arise rather than proactively strategizing. Lack of Input Valuation: Unfortunately, the management tends to overlook HRBP's opinions, leaving many feeling undervalued and unheard. Your insights might not be sought out or considered in decision-making processes.

Pros

- Great amount of opportunities to learn and grow within current role (i.e. stretch assignments, regional projects, short-term assignments) - Benefits (i.e. medical, dental, 401k)

Cons

- Lack of consistent leadership leading to lack of development for the individual (feels like I am constantly starting over in proving my worth) - HR Departments are being impacted the most which prevents opportunity for growth - Burnout is frequent and Amazon doesnt seem to care about how HR folks are impacted "your role is being cut so find another job or your being let go" - Pay is trash compared to our counterparts at other countries. We are expected to do more but, be paid the same while our overall value (total compensation) decreases significantly YoY. And for those of us that are L6s, no raises for the past 3 years is crazy.
