Pros
It's a great place for working parents and for those who may not need to climb the corporate ladder but rather need decent paychecks with decent culture.
Cons
People love Amex because of its wonderful people and culture. However, I witness that culture is changing for worse. Leaders are busy putting out fires coming from the top, not from customers. Focus on coaching and development is essentially gone. Especially with recent performance ratings, most people are miserable and unhappy with low pay and negative environment.
