Pros

I want to start by saying that my values and approaches align very well with the values and processes used in the company. So, my worldview matches the reality here, and I don't face any issues in my work. I believe Andersen is a great place to start career. They have their own training school that provides not only theoretical but also practical skills, along with opportunities to work on real projects. Additionally, there's room for growth and development in any direction. The company offers a personalized development plan, tailored to individual needs, allowing for long-term planning. There's also a resource management department that aids in professional development. Regular salary reviews are conducted as well. I also want to highlight the people working in the company, the Warsaw office has gathered an incredible team of professionals. Another big plus is that Andersen handles all the paperwork for employment, which is very helpful for visa applications. The company does a lot for the IT sphere, organizing meetups, conferences, and exhibitions, facilitating knowledge exchange with colleagues from other companies. I also want to mention that the company consistently gathers feedback and implements good practices based on employee suggestions.

Cons

I can't say these are necessarily negatives, they are just characteristics of working in an outsourcing/staffing company: frequent project changes, a lengthy communication chain to resolve issues, and average or slightly below average salary levels. Lack of extra benefits such as paid lunches/dinners. Additional assessments like the Gorilla test create more stress than benefit.

Pros

In this company, you're never alone. Here, you have your HR, your Project Manager, and your Resource Manager. And if you're on the bench, you'll have your Bench Manager ready to offer advice, help, and consultation, answering all your questions. This isn't just talk; it's really how things are in this company. You always have someone to turn to, and not just one person. If you're looking to develop in a certain direction, you can truly ask how best to do it and receive very specific recommendations in the form of concrete courses, specific steps, and even a planned path from the basics, from how to start and continue to develop in that direction. I also have experience that if your project is ending in this company, they won't say goodbye to you on the same day. Thanks to a wide variety of projects, they can offer you not just one but several projects with different directions, different client geographies, and different types of businesses. So, even if you find yourself on the Bench, you have the opportunity to get acquainted with different projects, enhance and upgrade your skills during this time, and also take part in the company's community activities, like helping to create questions for quizzes for students at the Anderson Academy.

Cons

I've only been at the company for two months and mainly worked on one project, so it's hard for me to judge everything. So far, I haven't seen any issues. The company feels open and flexible, always offering ways to get involved or grow in different areas. One thing to know is there's a big russian-speaking community here. A lot of communication and some documents and courses are in russian. If that matters for your work comfort, keep it in mind.
