Great place to work

Pros

Working at Andersen definitely boosted my professional growth. I had opportunity to learn from people who are way more experienced than I am and improve both technical and soft skills. Andersen also provides constant opportunities to check your current level of knowledge via tech interviews. There's a pretty clear salary review path. Also there're are opportunities to grow within the company and try different roles as you move forward (resource manager, mentor, architect etc). Ability to work remotely improved my life-work balance which is a huge benefit to me. Formal communication is always held in a professional way. Although the atmosphere overall is pretty friendly. There's no micromanagement but you stay in touch with your resource manager and HR which makes it easy to communicate and be heard. News channels, ticket system and learning portal are well organised and easily accessible.

Cons

Haven't encountered any major cons.

Pros

A good oppty for the specialist e.g. from the eastern europe to enter the western europe market. Oppty to work remotely and relocate

Cons

- not much opportunity for financial growth within the company - pressure to participate in extra activities - fear of not finding a new project in time which may result in temporary salary decrease or firing - performance review process very vaguely aligns with the actual work i do - expertise increase path is non-linear. It is a matter of luck because it heavily depends on the project you are assigned to

Thank you for your feedback. We are always striving to improve the working conditions and career opportunities for our employees. Of course, the possibility of downsizing due to the absence of the project is possible and will be due to the crisis in the IT outsourcing market. Additional activities, mentoring and organizing meetings are voluntary and are paid additionally. We recommend additional activities because they stimulate professional growth. This is standard practice in all large IT companies. You can discuss the PR process with your Resource Manager.
