A nice company going through challenging times

Pros

Friendly environment , most of the co-workers are very competent and kind. Some nice benefits like free food at the office and free parking.

Cons

The overall team morale and chemistry is low due to some upper management decision. There is a latent but strong movement against the new hierarchical roles and the feeling that the new employees and the upper management are , in a sense, destroying the companies culture and slowing turning the company into a regular company. The new office is poorly located and hard to reach by bus, depending on where you are going you have to walk and cross the road to get a bus in the other side. This is specially hard for women since the neighbourhood is not very friendly. It is said that you can work at multiples projects over the course of a year, but it is very common to get stuck in a project, since the project pool is very limited. Of course you can ask to change projects, and you will probably have your request accepted if you do. However, since the project pool is very limited it might mean that you will have no project to work on, which is not something desirable.

Pros

Starting with world-class office and infrastructure - possibly the best in the country. You get the very best tools to work with - from your laptop, your monitor and accessories, to the meeting rooms. The collaborative culture makes your colleagues - especially management - go out of their way to provide everything you need in order to develop great work. There are also awesome perks such as company lunches, resting room (with a massage chair!), WFH Fridays, beer on Thursdays, snacks... And that's not even half of it. There's plenty of room for growth and incentive for exploring new technologies. Lastly, you get to work with some of the brightest people you'll ever meet in your career.

Cons

The company is experiencing some pains of the exponential growth it had over the last few years. It's facing an ongoing process of improvement in areas such as career development and leadership organisation.

Pros

Work in different projects in small periods 3 to 6 months, from my point of view this is pretty cool otherwise you can become very bored about the same code, same design, same people, etc. No dress code, you can work wearing flip flops pretty much every day, free fruits.

Cons

Your progress will be much more based on your social abilities then your technical skills, so yeah, if you know everything about algorithms but is no spending a significant amount of time speaking about your lunch and the weather with your colleagues there are high chances that you won't progress much here.
