      Pros

      - flexibility, plenty off days, strive to be the company of choice, and they really care about their employees especially being a fortune 300 company.

      Cons

      - bring salary more in line with the industry, need sick days separate from PTO days. Better health care plans.

      Pros

      Great benefits, 3% pension 6% match on 401k. Health insurance dental and vision all very reasonable for cost

      Cons

      Fluctuation in regulation made being an agent almost impossible. You will work 3 months a year and make 90% of the yearly income while struggling the rest of the year. Assurant has chosen to spend a majority of their focus on the lower tier market, who now get their insurance through the exchange. The sales team is dwindling and will not last much longer. Eventually they will relocate the entire base to the corporate office in Milwaukee.
