      Avanade has made the transition as a college grad into the work force very well providing all the resources needed.

      Pros

      Benefits are standard with other companies. However, the extended benefits package is great. Lots of training opportunities and ability to obtain industry relevant certifications.

      Cons

      Depending on your client, you will see long work hours and a lot of travel taking up time away from family.

      Pros

      The Healthcare and 401k is above average.

      Cons

      There's not one thing I miss about this company. They continue to put margins and sales quotas ahead of their workforce and the marketplace reality. The reality is they are too top heavy to compete and remain priced fairly to their clients. They add so much to their price in anticipation of their delivery errors. Former top notch firm with the same value as staff augmentation companies now.

      Exposure to consulting with extremely large organisations Great stepping stone for graduates & those starting a consulting career Compensation for non-graduates is exceptional

      Cons

      Feels like an IBM club. Over the top social programs that focus almost entirely on Women in IT and limit resources for other social causes that employees are legitimately interested in. Accenture work ethic; grind you to the bone. Will abuse your expertise by forcing you to travel to execute the same projects year on year for different customers, pigeon holing your career growth Graduates are held back by unwritten rules for when they can be promoted etc which strains career mentoring processes. Graduates paid at bottom end of their "level"
