      Worked for them for over 20 years, good company to work for in the past, but company is changing a great deal now.

      Value technology and people that know how to sell, develop, and market it. Pushes safety and quality

      Cons

      Too many internal fights between divisions...Not an easy company for customer to work with... No longer value experience in some divisions. May of bought too many companies at the same time.

      Pros

      It's a solid company, leader in his sector with an historical presence in many countries. International, challenging, you can learn a lot. Personal relations are generally positive.

      Cons

      Very structured and strongly centrally governed (German Headquarters). Few decisional authonomy left at local level. Few top positions outside Germany. Salary (out of Germany) are generally not high.

      Pros

      Stress level is very low like a state office. Your position is safe and possibility to loosing the job is low.

      Cons

      Salaries are standard. Carrier opportunities are limited. Rigid company like as State offices. BASF does not appreciate ambitious employees. Be quite and do your job. Do not question the process. Follow the rules and keep calm. Kills your motivation for challenge !!!
