Pros

Company car minus $175.00 monthly Some phone allowance Some internet allowance Vacation (if you choose to use)

Cons

My goodness, where do I begin? I have no idea how BAT has 4 stars. If you want true reviews, look up reviews for "Reynolds American". Since Project Propel in July, 2020 it is a complete, aimless wreck. Our customers can't believe their eyes. They are forced to carry all of these items that everyone knows will never sell in their market. Maybe the big cities on the east and west coast... All of this running and moving the same category with POS changeover after changeover and remerchandising the same categories monthly. The merchandising on Brand Load Guidelines doesn't make sense and creates out of stocks for the Vapor section. We are held to a standard that unattainable. Number one in the nation in several categories yet the management doesn't reward us. Just more mundane, meaningless work. I speak for ALL of my peers when I say we feel like we are on a hamster wheel, going nowhere. The only thing I look forward to is the weekend and days off. On saturday evening I am dreadful that Monday is only another day away, then back to the three-ring circus for another five days.

Pros

Car (even though I pay $175/month) Phone stipend

Cons

It’s getting extremely difficult to stay motivated in the United States while all we hear is that we’ve increased volume and share all while waiting on our layoffs. What kind of company applauds only the employees in home office while ignoring the worker bees in the field? Territory Managers used to be respected and we are now treated like lazy, uneducated, professional merchandisers with zero intelligence or motivation. We have moved hundreds of miles and worked thousands of hours and put our actual sweat and tears in these positions for you to scoff at us on a company town hall that has nothing to do with us. There is zero acknowledgment. Zero respect. Zero effort in making this less of a toxic environment. Numbers is all that matters. People do not.

Pros

A company that was born international. The scope and exposure to people and projects from around the world gives so much diverse experience. This is the type of business if you are ambitious, passionate and happy to get stuck in, then career progression will happen for you. They encourage, reward and celebrate great results.

Cons

It is a really big company, so when changes are needed to happen at a global level, the process can take a bit of time. Lots of people involved and to manage.
