      Pros

      Work culture is great, in my team at least, you feel like you are empowered and there is a good environment for collaboration. Pay and benefits are good for the level of job and there is a lot of opportunity for development and variety of career. Hybrid working is a plus.

      Cons

      It's a tobacco company, whilst they are trying to reduce smoking, there is still a stigma around working there. Being a huge company, work often feels slow and diluted down. Hard to see the big picture sometimes.

      Often toxic environment - in my time at BAT UK, I've both witnessed and experienced (on multiple occasions) - bullying behaviour, prejudice behaviour, ignorant/racially charged jokes/comments from senior managers, significant drug use (at social events and corporate Christmas parties) When it comes to leadership, as you go up the chain of command everyone is a Caucasian male = significant lack of diversity in senior positions.
