After switching to sales associate tracking (i.e. how much you sold an hour), the workplace became competitive and tedious. People were assigned hours based solely off of how much they averaged per week. At my store, I processed shipment the quickest, so I never got any sales averages because I was always in the back, and because of that, I only got hours completing shipments. Also, the monthly meetings were tedious and unhelpful.

Only ever worked closing shift Denied a raise for 3 years in a row Rude manager If you weren't meeting your target you were given less opportunity to improve then were written up for not meeting them. Hard to improve if you aren't given time on the sales floor. Very unorganized semi annual sale and inventory prep Late late late nights for sales floor flips Had to cancel health appointments that were made months in advance because management refused to work with my schedule. Lots of promises made but never came through
