Pros

Its in a remote, casual, flexibility, market leader

Cons

The benefits provided are at a minimum and do not adequately reflect a commitment to employees’ health and well-being. There is no option to enhance what are widely viewed as insufficient health insurance plans. This sends a concerning message about how employee welfare is prioritized. In addition, the company has undertaken widespread demotions and eliminated multiple layers of leadership in a manner that raises serious questions about fairness, transparency, and compliance with labor standards. Employees increasingly feel treated as numbers rather than as individuals who have contributed meaningfully to the organization’s growth. It is deeply disappointing to witness what has happened to Binance. In a very short period of time, the company shifted from being strongly supported and defended by its employees to losing much of their trust and respect. Long-standing contributors who helped build the company are now facing pay cuts or termination regardless of performance. Pay-cuts done via threat of termination. Ilegal demotions in mass. No respect for labour laws. What once stood out was a culture rooted in meritocracy — a principle many employees valued and believed in. Today, that principle feels compromised when individuals can be promoted one week and dismissed the next. Reports of retaliation and inconsistent decision-making have only reinforced these concerns where results do not matter anymore. Leadership decisions to restructure parts of the organization that were functioning effectively have significantly increased workloads for remaining teams, placing financial and emotional strain on employees and their families. Bottlenecking of career options, no room for growth, zero interest in hearing employees feedback, the company's current tactic can only be described as: squeezing employees out. The pace and manner of these changes have created an environment of uncertainty, fear, and disengagement. Even top performers with multiple recognitions have seen bonuses reduced dramatically without clear justification, severely impacting their finances and mental health. As a result, morale has declined sharply. Employees feel unmotivated, uninspired, and apprehensive about their future. It is painful to see a company once admired for its drive and merit-based culture lose the respect of those who once loved, supported, and defended it. These outcomes reflect not only operational decisions but also a broader need for greater self-awareness, accountability, and emotional intelligence at the leadership level.
