Pros
The prestige of working for Booz Allen is second to none in the world of government sector consulting and even if you're private sector, there are few more respected names. Nearly everyone who works at Booz is very proud to work there, which is a pretty nice thing morale-wise, you know that everyone there is interested in and proud of the work that we do for our clients. Its also great place to gain a lot of experience very quickly as a professional. You will meet lots of really smart people with incredibly diverse backgrounds when you are all thrown onto a team together.
Cons
I would say that the pay and opportunities for advancement are probably not the greatest in the sector. I know my initial offer was 10% below what other companies in the industry were offering me straight out of school and even after negotiation, the Booz offer was still less than the other companies around here. Also, the fact that the only people who get bonuses are the senior management is rather frustrating. One of the other peculiarities of working at Booz is that when you are working client-site full time, you will pass a lot of other Booz Allen employees and never know that they are there; the communication about what team members are where is really lacking even though they are working on developing solutions.
