The absolute best group of people!

Pros

I don't think I've ever worked at a company where I've loved my coworkers this much!! Everyone is incredibly intelligent, driven, helpful, and supportive of each other. The entire SF office is super close and genuinely friends with each other! The product is fantastic as well; we are growing so quickly because we're adding clients every day. The benefits are also great: flex time off, catered lunch every day, tons of swag, fun office events at least once a month, and an actual work-life balance (I'm really surprised some of the other reviewers have called this out negatively, hasn't been my experience AT ALL).

Cons

It is definitely a company where you need to be comfortable working independently; I think that's a pro, but some might consider it a con!

Challenges for work life balance

Pros

Casual atmosphere Daily catered lunch, free snacks + drinks Great people, tons of talent Great product, very successful in the space Growing fast

Cons

Work-life balance is a problem across the organization. Pressure to complete assignments outside of normal working hours. Work from home options and flexible vacation time are subject to the whims of your department head. Velocity of projects and shifting focus can leave little room for confidence in quality of work delivered. Leadership is complicit in late additions, changing priorities, and ad hoc everything-is-urgent asks outside of established processes. Managers are frequently senior or high-performing individual contributors promoted into management roles with no reduction in their individual responsibilities and little training. This results in disengaged direct reports and high turnover. Location of NY office is pretty awful. Right by port authority and times square. Convenient location for transit hubs but really, really not great to walk through every day.

DO NOT get a job here!

Pros

Good snacks, Competitive pay and ok product

Cons

Mid level sales managers have as much experience as Donald Trump. Managers are all talk, and can never actually do the job themselves. The CEO who is the former CTO is one of the most arrogant geeks you will ever meet. He talks down on everyone who can't code, because he thinks that is what makes him smart, while he has zero people skills and knows nothing about life outside java script. This company is going nowhere no matter what they think. The marketing team does an ok job now after years of being paid to do nothing. Engineers continue to believe their managers about what they are building, but are clueless that these are dumb features that everyone has.
