Pros
There are good people at CCC. The pay and benefits are highly competitive. As an IT company, CCC is dedicated to having "IT Quality" benefits in regards to vacation, 401(k) match, etc., So for those hired into the organization they will have a great experience while being fairly compensated. Downtown Chicago location is fantatstic. The work itself is interesting.
Cons
Senior Management is uninspired. There is no growth limiting opportunities. In nongrowth companies the only way to improve the bottom line is through annual lay-offs. Every year CCC will clean house of top-paid performers under the guise of restructuring. But the truth is that their revenue line has seen little growth over the past ten years. Their lack of bold vision and commitment leads to smaller players grabbing their marketshare - they will later buy these players in an attempt to regain this share.
