      A great place to work

      Pros

      CDP North America is an excellent place to work. Although it’s a global organisation, it can still feel quite close knit. And there is surprisingly limited bureaucracy and hoops to jump through. The NA office is based in NYC and the people there are friendly and always happy to pause and have a quick chat.

      Cons

      It’s a NGO so obviously the pay isn’t as high as other sectors. But to be fair it’s also not as low as I’ve seen from other organisations.

      Passionate and intelligent individuals, mission driven, opens many doors

      Cons

      most at the company do not have family or are right out of college leading to tendencies for overworking with little boundaries in reality despite “company values” low retention rate - overworked, underpaid, no room for growth over promised by management on change, issues are not addressed year over year, leading to low quality service to members, outdated systems, management is too far removed from lower level difficulties

      Depending on position, can get repetitive Not a lot of transparency around promotions
