      Good ethos ruined by petty managers and poor pay

      Pros

      Some really great work has come and continues to come out of CDP. The organization is a leading voice in growing awareness and action around climate risk. A very bright staff - perhaps too bright as most employees are overqualified.

      Cons

      The organization is run by micromanaging, petty individuals. Oh, and salary/pay-grades are an absolute joke ... how can an organization that purports to be an elite institution, liaising with giant financial players, pay their employees poverty wages? It's illogical and insulting.

      Pros

      Has made a huge impact in its field for its size and continues to grow. Very supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

      Cons

      The pay isn't that great and nearly everyone works over 40 hours every week - though this is as much due to enthusiasm as work load.

      Wonderful colleagues, everyone passionate about the cause, ability to work from home and somewhat flexible hours.

      Cons

      Lack of structure sometimes problematic, can be difficult to have opportunities for advancement depending on role.
