Pros

Good work-life balance, overtime is rare.

Cons

The situation is currently unstable. Management executed massive layoffs without fully understanding the context of the work activities being halted, and direct supervisors were left uninformed. Furthermore, they did not prepare a proper transition strategy, resulting in some projects being left pending and poor communication with stakeholders.

Pros

You work with the most brilliant and hard-working people. The Mission is excellent. I get to go to work every day knowing that I'm working to leave a better world for my children.

Cons

This organization was so different in 2023. So much change has happened. Two restructures in 16 months is too much. Optimistic this next one is what is actually needed but fearful it's not.

Pros

Fantastic spring board; experience you can't get anywhere else. Really values professional development and investing in your career. Work/life balance is very very good. Pay is pretty good for a nonprofit.

Cons

As of summer 2024, corporate restructuring/reorganization is not making it easy for anybody to do their jobs, despite the actual staff trying their best. CDP may come out well in the future, but I would not personally join in the next 6-12 months.
