Pros

You get in touch with almost every branch of the editorial process, which are great networking opportunities. The pay is top-notch in the news business. It's not much compared to other industries, but definitely better than local stations.

Cons

Sometimes rotating shifts and crazy working hours. Be ready to work on Christmas, New Year's Eve, and/or Thanksgiving.

Pros

Wonderful employees, very welcoming to the new person! Exceptional training and support when you join and throughout employment there. Communication is exemplary.

Cons

Although communication was brilliant, when you first join it is a bit overwhelming if you're not used to it.

Pros

Wonderful people for the most part, exciting news environment and best city in US ! Atl headquarters was wonderful!

Cons

None other than when you make too much $ there for some departments-they don’t want you there till retirement it seems. Hopefully that is changing.
