Pros

Large well known multinational company which makes working for the company a chance to make an impact on the world. Great people and great compensation.

Cons

Locations often in remote locations. Cargill trained. Company discourages external training. Bad publicity around improper supply chain management i.e. child labor, slavery, etc.

Good company to get experience

Pros

Part of a global company that partners with big organizations around the world. Strong focus on company values. A lot to learn, great for those looking to gain experience.

Cons

Very much still a boys club in the plants, although more women coming into leadership roles. Jobs are mostly in rural areas so relocation is required if you want to move up in the company. Long working hours. The last few years have been very shaky and uncertain with mass lay-offs worldwide and business restructuring. Corporate and plant leadership have done little to minimize the effects on those who are left which in turn leaves people distrusting of each other and the company as a whole.
