Pros

If you work hard and have average or better skill, Cargill will try to help you reach your full potential, helping you find a place you are passionate about.

Cons

Cargill has become increasingly like public companies, letting good, dedicated people go when the company experiences short term financial stress. This is a recent cultural development in Cargill.

Pros

The office facilities in Hopkins are nice, if you haven't been outsourced.

Cons

Whoever decided to replace 2000+ knowledgable IT employees with incompetent, non-English speaking TCS employees needs to be fired. The leadership does not care about employees or work/life balance anymore. The motto is "Do more" do there is a lot of pressure for the employees still there, who have to deal with all the idiots that are new. Also, salaries are not competitive by any means and they no longer offer competitive benefit plans either.

Pros

Nice people to work with. You get lots of holidays and a flexible work environment. Lots of social hours to get to know others

Cons

Where to start. There are always secrets from upper management who has no clue what you do every day. Plus the raise was an insult. You get to see the mean of what everyone is paid then they tell you your at the end because it's a new job. Management keeps telling you that you will get a raise but I only got one a year. Another thing I hated was how management had no clue what I did for my job. They alway asked and when we were in meeting with other people they would act like they knew what was going on then ask me about it later. saving management is important to this company even if they have no clue how to do the job when your gone. We had slackers on the team but they were BFF with management because they were good at making them selfs looks good.
