      Pros

      A large company with decent benefits focused on modernization. Experience from a modern company is valued. In my opinion the long term out look for the company is positive and the company ESOP is a valuable incentive. I enjoyed my time with Cargill and it's people.

      Cons

      The company is going through a lot of change as they are reorganize for efficiency. That increases challenges for individuals as the leadership drives top down changes which can result in uncertainty as the company redefines itself. The company cultural is political and places value on being aligned more than adding value.

      Pros

      Very good pay and good opportunities to expand individual knowledge base. Encourage participation in learning and understanding the science behind its product production.

      Cons

      Lot of areas to learn if this is what you desire, those opportunities await you. Department management is weak and heavily rely on their good performers. They allow slackerst to continue to not preform thus destroying overall achievable facility stability. Upper management is blind to the truth and/or REFUSE to Honestly investigate false paperwork, questionable equipment operations, its compromised safety department & fudged quality numbers. Work/Life Balance is a sin, there is none, you just deal with it. The forever shift rotation will crush you,work and family.

      Pros

      Entrepreneurial culture. Smart people. Very profit driven. Good physical footprint. Great training grounds. If you're smart and on a fast track, you will be loved. If you're not on a fast track, be ready to get laid off, particularly in commercial roles.

      Cons

      One team - one dream culture doesn't always bode well for bonuses. IT systems are terrible. A good amount of incompetent people.
