Challenging role with a STEEP learning curve.

Pros

-Flexible schedule -Good people -Benefits, 401k match, company car -You work essentially a "teacher's schedule" so you have Summers and holidays off.

Cons

Quite simply, there is just TOO MUCH for ONE person to do. The learning curve to this job takes a year, and it is tough. Lots of ups and downs. Dealing with rude professors in a thankless job is exhausting. I don't get paid enough to deal with the amount of stress I deal with on a daily basis.

There were two pros about Cengage: a lot of goid people work there, and the pay checks never bounced.

Cons

Difficult to know where to start. A poorly managed shrinks by company in an industry (college publishing) struggling to remain viable

That I have a job. Love the Health insurance pick of Cigna, Love Vacation accrual.

Cons

When the company was sold to an equity firm, everything changed. Our incentives were cut and we work just as hard with no financial growth potential. Raises are poor and great incentives were cut. Disappointed in the future growth with this company.
