      - So far, everyone that I've worked with (in my office and others) has been very friendly and pleasant to work with. - I have been assigned work that is fair and challenging given my experience coming into the company. - I have been given to chance to collaborate with several different departments on various projects. - My managers always meet with me to discuss project checkpoints and discuss my outlook within the company. - I have received several opportunities to communicate and work with third parties to create, develop, and manage our products.

      - I haven't experienced any cons at this position.

      Pros

      1) We have some great Sr. Leadership who have vision, share the vision and execute to meet that vision! 2) Work-Life Balance is encouraged and supported! 3) Great to be a part of a team working to improve the learning experience for our users as well as continue to strive to be industry leaders! 4) Cengage takes care of their people and the community. We have several internal employee events as well as events to help our community. Our most recent being a “dance off” to raise money for the Hurricanes. We’re also doing a Thanksgiving food drive.

      Cons

      Really do not have any. If you are not adaptive to change, this may not be the place for you as we are continuously changing to improve our processes/efficiencies in order to remain the industry leader.

      Pros

      Nowadays, all companies preach work/life balance, treat your employees well, etc. This is the first place that I've worked that actually practices it. They treat us well and seem to care that we have a life outside of work.

      Cons

      The GPT Start Program training was great but I had been here about 5 moths before I got to go to it. I was on a 3 month contract to hire and after getting hired it took a couple of months to get to go to it. Having the training earlier would have been much better.
