      Pros

      • Management that is market-visionary, not intimidated by challenges, transparent, and trusting that the many hands and minds of its employees are the way to succeed. • Mission that is inspiring: changing the education landscape by offering truly worthwhile products at lower prices, to better connect students with the joy and rewards of learning.

      Cons

      Much of the company revenue comes from the higher education market, which has seen lower student enrollments for the past 5 years, and which is, appropriately, highly sensitive to price. Cengage Learning management has been visionary and has created a great culture for the job of attacking the market pressures, but the market pressures can certainly be seen as a con.
