      Pros

      Generally the culture is positive and most of my colleagues were amenable. Most of the products are strong and there are good prospects for internal promotion.

      Cons

      At times sales expectations are unrealistic and the bonus/commission structure is poor.

      Pros

      Good starting job with a strong basic salary alongside nice bonus systems.

      Cons

      Poor management with a narrow minded approach. Usually unqualified individuals are higher up and don't actively sell, they gain accounts from people calling in and buying. Completely unchallenging work that doesn't engage the creative aspect of your mind. Journalists also despise sales teams for no apparent reason other than perhaps jealousy. Dying industry that will fall victim to publishers like Buzzfeed.
