Some truly great brands and magazines. Some really great people too. Hence 2 stars not 1

Cons

Many of the great brands and great people not being nurtured or supported. Over promising and under delivering, so many of best people leaving to join competitors. Not meeting industry standards on pay. Many feel little room for development in career. Lack of work-life culture. Embarrassingly out of touch in terms of digital future plans, not forward thinking in terms of new media. Suppliers and contractors often paid late.

Some talented people (even though those tend to leave quite quickly) and nice WeWork office.

Cons

This is honestly the most shocking place I’ve ever worked in. The culture is so toxic that there’s not even words to define it. The senior management are just in there to protect their bonuses, and make decisions that are running the business to the ground. There is no vision and no future. I’m surprised the investors haven’t clocked on that they have directors who are negligent. Lots of entitled people who only care about themselves and preserving the status quo.

Too many to mention. If Russian Gulags ran Media Publishers, Centaur would be the blueprint. The maxim, 'Beatings will continue until morale improves' is clearly the CEO's ultimatum to all that kneel before her. For any job hunters seriously considering Centaur, avoid this company like the plague. I dare say the positive reviews are written by HR or the Profit Centre Managers (an oxymoron at Centaur).
