Pros

Friendly coworkers, good benefits, annual trip is nice.

Cons

Slow turn around time, management is unsure of what they want and will change course randomly, there's a lack of communication from topdown, sneaky internal politics at play.

Pros

Chess is first, chess pros for colleagues, and Erik is boss

Cons

The chess market is subject to wild external swings, making it harder to determine our effect.

Pros

extremely flexible company, 100% remote (no offices exist so no worry about 'returning to the office') great benefits and great people.

Cons

The only con was being laid off. They're a company like any other, even though they don't seem like it on the surface. If not for that I don't know any reason why I'd have ever left.
