Pros

• Equipped with all necessary skills and knowledge to effectively lead a team. • Good option for those seeking a quick and immediate job.

Cons

• Not assigned any managerial responsibilities despite being in a managerial role. • Lack of accountability led to employees arriving late and failing to prepare their successors. • Most managers overlooked issues unless they directly affected them. • Experienced frequent harassment and bullying without appropriate action being taken. • Resigned to prioritize mental well-being. • Not suitable as a long-term career path.

Pros

I’ve worked at 3 different Chipotle Locations over 4 years. The pay is alright, the free employee meal is the biggest benefit

Cons

The customers are really rude sometimes, and your experience really depends on who the General Manager is. Some of them are very stingy about money and hours (literally to the minute sometimes), while others are more laid back and friendly. The coworkers are normal, most are very nice and chill to work with. Usually the less busy locations are more stingy and the busier ones are more laid back because it’s such a high intensity environment. Upper management is the worst though (regional and above). None of them have ever been a crew or shift lead and it shows. They care about stupid things and the things they yell at managers for make no sense most of the time. Chipotle as a whole also cares about customers way too much. A customer is almost always 100% in the wrong, and they’ll side with them and give them free stuff and admonish their workers who were most likely not in the wrong.
