Pros

1.Has gained beacuse of escalating dollar value. No major change in the manpower rates, but because the dollar has gone up by INR 15, the revenue of the company has grown showing it as a growing company. 2. They have an clinical data analytics product called as BI-Clinical. Looks promising. Thats the only IP they have perhaps. 3. Salary comes on time 4. It is an ISO 270001 and ISO 9001 certified. 5. Long standing customers 6. The promoters are exceptionally sharp and are one of the best in the industry.

Cons

1. While you think you are doing a lot of things, you never get complete satisfacion of doing something on your own. Smallest of things you want to do need to be shared with your boss first. Too much of micro management. Beyond a point one starts loosing faith in one self. If you try to be independant, you get shot down. 2. While the company shows transparency and wants employees to believe that the company is open to suggestions and feedback, smart people know what the reality is. 3. The HR team is pathetic. They are very very manipulative. One of the worst teams CitiusTech has. They bring lot of negativity and are very political. They bring in lot of politics in the company. At some point, you really want to not talk to them, but your reimbursements are with them. So you dont have any option. HR team is like a pack of wolves. 4.The second worst team is recruitment. No one cares for the referrals. No one bothers to respond to any referrals. If you refer someone to the recruitment team and send a CV, be assured it goes in black hole. The CV goes to the team, but nothing comes out. No response 5. The company has fired several people in the last few months. The firing process is also very poor. They call it councelling out without giving any opportunity for improvement. They pay you 2 months basic to sit at home and after two months - bye bye 6. There are many old timers sitting at top poistions. They may or many not be good. Some are really good and thats perhaps the reason why the delivery works well. But few are just sitting on the chair because they have lot of stock options and they may not get anything else in the market. Old timers are rarely asked to leave even though their performance could be poor. Just because the old timers decided to work with them several years back, they continue to sit in their positions. 7. The appraisal system is a hoax. If your skill set is required, you can get your H1-B done by telling the company that you are resigning. They will immedately file your H1-B. How well do you gel with your peers and how well you share an equation with your boss, determines your appraisal score. The appraisal questionnaire is quite weird as well. The scoring is from 1 to 5 and decimal points are allowed,. How does one score 3.6 and 3.9 or 4.1 or 4.35 is anyone's guess and what is the basis for hike - it is all but unknown. The company claims it has grown rapidly over several years, but then why does that not translate into better bonuses and better salary hikes. 8. CitiusTech calls itself software development company, but where is the development. It is all maintenance projects. The difference lies in what kind of software are you maintaining - AS400 code or dot net or java. End of the day, companies in the US consider CitiusTech as a labour providing company, chargeable by the hour and they look at how much was the billing. It is an out and out Body Shopping firm 9. Please have people accountable for anything they do. By trying to divide and conquer, the overall responsibility gets broken down and no one is really in control of anthing. Its very easy to loose the track. The positive side is that no one gets pulled up for the goof up because no one has time to figure out who screwed up, and hence there is always a fire fighting situation. People working weekends, over nights is quite common. 10. They have some real big names in the customer's list. I mean real big names. But please pause and find out what work they do for those clients. Code maintenace, code migrations... is that it?
