      Clashing corporate cultures and little benefits for huge corporation.

      Pros

      Claro is part of America Movil, one of the biggest telecom companies of the world. The accounting is complex so you will learn a lot.

      Cons

      Previously state owned, has gone through 3 acquisitions since, including Verizon. Clashing culture between employees hired during government ownership and subsequent owners. The current (America Movil) owner does not understand the Puertorican/American corporate culture, no 401k and low salaries , work life balance is horrible except if you are in a union position. No room for Puertorican employees to be sent abroad to higher management positions, all upper managment is brought from Mexico.
