The work environment is very collegial. The company does a good job of figuring out the best processes and adapting to changing circumstances. I'm learning more working here than I have at many other companies.

Cons

It can be intimidating working at a company where everyone is in great physical shape and really really talented.

Excellent work-life balance, fun product, interesting technical problems, modern tech stack, competitive compensation, free access to online learning resources (egghead.io & codeschool), even mix of mid-level and senior engineers, interview process favors live-coding rather than whiteboard hazing, transparent compensation expectations via angel-list

Cons

Meetings cut into individual contributors' time a bit too much. Benefits could be better (no catered food, health insurance provider requires prior authorization for minor services).

Pros

Everyone is very friendly and warm. It's a very collegial environment where people care about each other, users, and studios. Work day just breezes by. Your work is appreciated.

Cons

As the company grows it can become increasingly hard to get things done internally. Everyone has to travel through loopholes. The process can seem inefficient. Work-life balance is lacking. It's tough working late hours/feeling tied to your email and handling your own life matters. Lastly, salary is under-market.
