Looking for a place to grow, and learn from people who excel at what they do? This isn't it.
Pros
The culture is laid back and free. They have fun events you can get exposure from. There are a handful of people who are brilliant and talented. Free fruit on certain days, beer on tap and free espresso machines.
Cons
No clear directions. Best case scenario, goals are unrealistic in proportion to their investment in their staff. Worst case is no goals at all. Some people who have been there too long and are at managerial levels are simply petulant and unqualified. They are bitter, miserable and are the root of a lot of negativity. Take the Human part of HR and they may come close to expectations. This company also seems to be trending towards a "too many Chiefs, not enough Indians" scenario, there is no shortage of VPs. It is very much a boys' club, with a couple of women thrown in for good measure. Sheer talent and hard work ain't gonna get you into that club.
