      Pros

      Interesting markets. Nice environment. Relaxed. Profitable so benefits agreeable.

      Cons

      Worked here for 10 years, in 3 separate stints. Was paid to leave twice! It always starts well, they give you your head and support initiative but gradually you get bogged down in the usual corporate bull$41t. My headline comes from a long period of seeing the best jobs being increasingly filled by non-uk nationals, basically your chances of a senior position are much improved if you ar from France (or any other non-uk country). In addition, the slow erosion of employees value seems to be ageist, the longer you work there and the more mature you are the less they value you. If conmtemplating a job there assume it will now=t be a long-term one.

      Pathetic culture and dysfunctional setup

      Free yogurt that you get in the office..thats about it!

      Unaligned and dysfunctional setup. They can restructure the organization in a day and from one department shift you to another(despite your career path) or simply ask you to leave! With no clear reasoning. Too much politics and management makes fake plans till their temporary tenure and the lower management takes the brunt of their mistakes. No job security or even department security..they could shift you from supply chain to research! No clear career paths and everyone is working in circles and trying to make the other look bad, instead of focusing on the present problems in hand. No strong leaders and airheads running the show...!

      Stay away from this company if you are in Russia

      Pros

      Very strong and healthy products, R&D is the best in diary industry and has huge investments into development of new products

      Cons

      Self-explanatory - for the last year more than 20 people left marketing out of 45 and the rest are searching for the new jobs. Danone is a chauvinistic company as all the management team in Russia are French, the internal politics is common. Overall the company is under pressure and not growing.
