      Pros

      Highly recommended for individuals looking to accelerate their career in tech and start-ups. Similar to an Uber, Door-dash, AirBnB, etc. of recent years, the company is on a growth trajectory that will greatly benefit your CV and yield residual benefits for your career. Success at Deel screens for ability to move a high-speed, navigating ambiguity and maximizing your agency to id and solve problems. *Mission-based --customer obsessed and product focused. Your not going to have to deal with the company wading into social issues, the politics of the day, or unnecessarily injecting these topics into the workplace. The workforce is incredibly global from various backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and skill sets, all brought together in support of the shared core mission vs. being involved in tangential side-quests for this or that social issue. (If you have worked in other companies long enough you know that this is not a given and is a meaningful alternative).

      Cons/Insights (not necessarily good or bad) * With high-growth comes high-challenges. Things move fast, things break, new problems and priorities compete with those already in-flight and your going to need to figure out how to keep it all moving. If your looking for a steady, predictable job, this likely not going to be the fit. * Decision making can be somewhat diffuse across the company due to the hyper-growth and complexity of all the markets/ time-zones, products, and services. There is a learning curve on how to best get the work done and influence. Likewise managing change and communication across silos and teams can be a challenge, but Deel Speed and bias for action helps offset. * High-performance culture. You are hired to drive impact and results. This a great pro for the right person who is motived by working with driven people and taking direct accountability for adding value every day in their role. Not place to come to if your looking to "rest and vest" or struggle under the pressure to perform.
