Disappointing

Business Outlook

Pros

The office complex looks amazing and Discover is a popular brand name, which is always good to have it on your Resume.

Cons

The office space is divided in a terrible way, you have to either share a small room with at least 6-7 people, or be in some wide open space with other few teams. Both ways people can't focus and be productive enough. Also, the pay is under the market rate. Not surprised they can't attract permanent employees and 90% of their IT department is of Indian contractors.

Very Good, But Not Great

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Great benefits (5 weeks vacation to start, up to 7% 401(k) contribution, flexible work-remote policy); strong values that are legitimately followed; consistent recognition events

Cons

Very political, no transparency on advancement, decisions are made extremely slowly, a shaky annual review process, HR communication is unreliable (both recruiting and employee support)
